First of a series of what I'll call 'Hospital Images'. Things I saw while I was 'under' in Dante's place. This one is unfinished and I don't know why I post it in this fase. I'ts been sitting on my desk for quite some time and I don' t think I have the energy to finish it, so I don't know if I ever will. But it is an almost perfect copy of the vision that I had. The atmosphere, the composition, the colours, they're all quite the way they 're supposed to be.

The drugs they gave me in the hospital induced a lot of these images and they remain extremely vivid up until this day... so I have a lot to go on.

Divan Express is a band that is participating in a contest on our national television called 'Zo is er maar één'. They hold a promotion campaign on Facebook in wich one can win this piece of highway concrete. In fact it's a piece of the 'E313' wich is also the title of one of their songs. As a close friend of the members of Divan Express I took it on me to transform this piece of concrete into a work of art. So that's why this post is called Stone Part One... Part two will show the result of my labour and hopefully there's gonna be a Part Three where I can show you guys a picture from the broadcast. The geezer in this picture is Chris, the lead singer of the band.
